KTMY (Key to Malaysia: Kunci Tahu Malaysia Anda) is an independent, offline-first data and knowledge portal that aggregates public data from official Malaysian government sources, open data portals, government websites, and publicly available information. The Service displays this information in structured dashboards, charts, and procedural guides for general reference purposes. KTMY is not an official government portal.

3. Data sources and attribution

Data displayed on KTMY is sourced from publicly available information including:

Official Malaysian government portals and open data portals (data.gov.my, DOSM, BNM, MOF, MOH, and other agency websites)
Public APIs (Malaysia Open Data API, Open-Meteo Weather API)
Official government announcements, press releases, and publications
Legitimate news and media outlets for publicly reported information

Where applicable, specific data sources are credited within the relevant dashboard sections. KTMY is an independent civic portal and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any Malaysian government agency.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

The data, information, and content provided on KTMY are made available on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to keep data synchronised and accurate:

We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the data displayed.
The underlying government APIs and data sources may have delays, gaps, or errors beyond our control.
Fuel prices, subsidy rates, exchange rates, tariffs, and government incentive schemes are subject to change by respective authorities without notice.
The Safety Alerts section displays live warnings from official sources. We cannot guarantee real-time delivery or absolute accuracy of alert data.
The Knowledge Base (Wiki) contains procedural guides compiled from public information. These may become outdated as government procedures change.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KTMY, its developers, operators, and contributors shall not be held liable for:

Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Any financial losses, investment decisions, travel disruptions, or business outcomes resulting from reliance on the data presented.
Any delays, inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in the data, whether from government sources or our own aggregation processes.
Any damages resulting from temporary Service unavailability, downtime, or data loss.

KTMY contains links to external websites, including but not limited to government portals, registration forms, utility sites, and third-party services. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any external site. Your use of external sites is subject to their respective terms and policies.

7. Intellectual property

The KTMY name, logo, brand identity, and website design are original works and are the property of the site operator. Public data displayed on the platform remains the property of the respective government agencies and is reproduced in accordance with their open data licences.

8. Privacy and data collection

KTMY does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user information. There are no user accounts, tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or server-side logs that capture identifying data. A limited amount of public data may be cached in your browser's LocalStorage for offline functionality. 9. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use KTMY for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms. Prohibited activities include:

Attempting to bypass rate limits, security measures, or access restrictions.
Scraping or bulk-harvesting data in a manner that disrupts the Service or imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or upstream APIs.
Misrepresenting KTMY as an official government service.
Distributing modified or falsified versions of KTMY data while misrepresenting its source.

10. Modifications to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. 11. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from the use of KTMY shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
