The Tioman Island Marine Park Conservation Fee is a contribution collected from all tourists visiting Pulau Tioman to maintain the marine biodiversity and support local ecology, managed by the DOF.

Who Is Eligible

All tourists visiting Pulau Tioman are required to pay the conservation fee.

Required Documents

  • Identification: Visitors are required to provide identification to purchase the conservation fee ticket.
  • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Payment at Marine Park Counter: Pay the conservation fee at the Marine Park counter located at Mersing Jetty (Johor) or Tanjung Gemok Jetty (Pahang) prior to purchasing or validating ferry tickets. 2. Keep the Ticket Safe: Keep the physical ticket safe as random inspections are conducted by rangers on the island.

    Cost & Processing Time

    The conservation fees are as follows:
  • Malaysian Citizens: RM5 for Adults, RM2 for Children (6-18 years old), Senior Citizens, and Students. Disabled (OKU) are free.
  • Foreign Nationals: RM30 for Adults, RM15 for Children.

    The conservation fee can be paid at the Marine Park counter located at Mersing Jetty (Johor) or Tanjung Gemok Jetty (Pahang).

    The conservation fee is mandatory for all tourists visiting Pulau Tioman.
