What Is It
Taman Negara is Malaysia's premier national park, spanning across Pahang, Kelantan, and Terengganu. To enter and participate in activities inside the park, visitors must purchase official permits and licenses issued by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN).

Step-by-Step Procedure
1. Arrive at Park Entrance: Visit the PERHILITAN Wildlife Office at the park entrance point (most commonly at Kuala Tahan, Pahang).
2. Declare Activities: Specify if you intend to hike, camp, fish, or take photos/videos.
3. Pay Permit Fees: Pay the cash fees for the Entry Permit (RM1 per person) and individual camera licenses (RM5 per device).
4. Collect Documentation: Keep the printed receipt slips. You must present these receipts to park rangers if audited during jungle trekking.
5. Purchase Canopy Walk Tickets: If visiting the canopy walkway, purchase separate entry tickets at the trail counter.
