The SME Status Certification (Sijil Status PKS) is issued by SME Corporation Malaysia and serves as an official certification confirming a business qualifies as a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in Malaysia.
Who Is Eligible
To be eligible for the SME Status Certification, a business must be a registered company with SSM (sole proprietorship, partnership, LLPs, or Sdn Bhd), have a minimum of 51% Malaysian equity ownership, and meet the SME criteria.

Management accounts/tax filings (for ROB/LLP): Required for ROB and LLP companies.

2. Upload Documents: Submit audited financial statements (for Sdn Bhd) or management accounts/tax filings (for ROB/LLP), and the latest EPF Form A (staff records).
3. Verification and Certificate Issuance: The system verifies data and issues the digital certificate within 7 working days. The service is free of charge.
