What Is It

The Selangor Smart Sewa Scheme is a rent-to-own housing program managed by PHSSB, a subsidiary of LPHS.

Who Is Eligible

To be eligible, applicants must be a Malaysian citizen, aged 18 and above, with family or dependents, living or working in Selangor, and a registered Selangor voter. The income limits are under RM5,000/month for Low Cost (Jenis A) and under RM15,000/month for Types B, C, and D (priority under RM10,000).

    1. Download Application Form: download the application form from LPHS or PHSSB website 2. Complete Application Form: complete the application form 3. Submit Application: submit the application form at PHSSB counters or via email

    Cost & Processing Time

    The tenant will receive 30% of total rent paid as a lump sum to serve as downpayment deposit to buy their first home after the rental period.

    Important Notes

    The property ownership requirement states that the applicant does not own a home in Selangor, or if owns, it must be more than 50km from the rent property (workplace within 25km).
