What Is It

The Kasih Ibu Smart Selangor (KISS) is a state welfare program managed by YAWAS. It provides B40 mothers in Selangor with a monthly financial credit of RM200 loaded onto a cashless smart card to purchase essential groceries at participating supermarkets.

Who Is Eligible

  • Malaysian citizen mother residing in Selangor for at least 10 years.
  • Household income below RM5,000 per month.
  • Registered voter in Selangor.
  • Has dependent children under 21 years old.

    • Grocery Items Covered

  • Rice, cooking oil, flour, eggs, sugar, milk powder, school supplies, and basic medical items.

    • Required Documents

  • MyKad: Copy of applicant's ID.
  • Children's MyKid/Birth Certificates: Proof of dependents.
  • Income Statements: Past 3 months salary slips or JKM card.
  • Voter Status Screen: Printout showing Selangor voting constituency.

    • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Online Form: Apply on the KISS portal (kiss.com.my) or collect forms at local ADUN service centers. 2. Submit Documents: Upload MyKad, income slips, and family registry. 3. Card Delivery: Approved applicants receive the KISS smart card. 4. Shopping: Present the card at participating panel grocery stores (e.g. Giant, 99 Speedmart) to purchase items. The credit is renewed with RM200 on the 1st of every month.
