# Sdn Bhd Company Incorporation (MyCoID)

What Is It

MyCoID is the official portal under the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) designed to facilitate the incorporation of private limited companies (Sdn Bhd) digitally under the Companies Act 2016. It enables online business registration and automated integration with other agencies (LHDN, EPF, SOCSO).

Who Is Eligible

  • Minimum of 1 director who is a Malaysian resident (citizen, PR, or resident pass holder).
  • Minimum of 1 shareholder.
  • The company must appoint a licensed Company Secretary within 30 days of incorporation.

  • Copies of MyKad (for Malaysian directors/shareholders) or Passports (for foreigners).
  • Proposed company name.
  • Description of business activities.
  • Proposed address of the registered office (usually the Company Secretary's office) and business office.

    1. Account Registration: Register a user account on the MyCoID portal and complete identity verification. 2. Name Search: Run a company name check to verify availability and secure approval. 3. Fill Super Form: Input details of the directors, shareholders, share capital, and business activities. 4. Appoint Secretary: Appoint a licensed Company Secretary to manage compliance. 5. Make Payment: Pay the official SSM incorporation fee of RM1,000. 6. Get Certificate: Upon SSM approval, the Certificate of Incorporation (Notice of Registration) is generated online.
