The Redang Island Marine Park Conservation Fee is a mandated fee collected from all visitors to Pulau Redang to fund the conservation, research, and maintenance of local coral reefs and marine life, managed by the DOF.

Who Is Eligible

All visitors to Redang Island must pay the conservation fee.

Required Documents

  • Receipt or Ticket: obtained after paying the conservation fee, to be shown to the boat operator and park rangers upon entering the marine park boundaries.
  • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Payment: pay the conservation fee at the Marine Park Counter at Merang Jetty or Shahbandar Jetty in Kuala Terengganu before boarding the ferry. 2. Show Receipt: show the receipt or ticket to the boat operator and park rangers upon entering the marine park boundaries.

    Cost & Processing Time

    The conservation fee is RM5 for Malaysian Adults, RM2 for Malaysian Children (6-18 years old) and Senior Citizens (60+), and free for Disabled (OKU). For Foreign Nationals, the fee is RM30 for Adults, RM15 for Children and Senior Citizens.
