What Is It

The Program Rebat Bil Elektrik RM40 is an initiative to provide financial assistance to eKasih registered families.

Who Is Eligible

To be eligible, you must be a Malaysian citizen, with the Head of Household (KIR) registered and verified as 'miskin tegar' (hardcore poor) in the eKasih database. This program is applicable only for domestic tariff account holders (TNB, SEB, SESB), with a limit of 1 account per household.

  • eKasih registered ID card: required to link with your residential electricity account number.

    1. Check Eligibility: check your eligibility on the official portal (semakanrebat.petra.gov.my). 2. Link eKasih ID with Electricity Account: visit the nearest TNB office to link your eKasih registered ID card with your residential electricity account number. 3. Automatic Discount Application: the RM40 discount is applied automatically in monthly bills.

    There is no cost involved, and the processing time is immediate, with the discount applied automatically.

    Important Notes

    If your bill is below RM40, it is free; if above RM40, you pay the remaining balance.
