# Vehicle Inspection at PUSPAKOM

What Is It

PUSPAKOM (Pusat Pemeriksaan Kenderaan Berkomputer) is Malaysia's national computerised vehicle inspection company. It performs mandatory checks on commercial vehicles, and private vehicles undergoing ownership transfer (B5 Inspection), road tax renewal for expired licenses (B2 Inspection), or imported vehicles.

Who Is Eligible

  • Private vehicle owners selling/buying a vehicle, or owners with road tax expired for more than 3 years.
  • All commercial transport vehicles.

    • Required Documents

  • Original Vehicle Registration Card / VOC (Geran).
  • Booking confirmation slip (MyPUSPAKOM slip).
  • Copy of owner's MyKad.

    • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Book Appointment: Register and book an appointment online via the MyPUSPAKOM portal. 2. Pay Booking Fee: Pay the inspection fees online. 3. Arrive at Center: Drive the vehicle to your selected PUSPAKOM branch on the scheduled date and time. 4. Inspection Run: PUSPAKOM technicians perform exhaust, brakes, suspension, emission, tint, and chassis checks. 5. Obtain Report: If passed, receive the official inspection report (e.g., B5 report for ownership transfer) immediately.

    • Important Notes

  • PUSPAKOM B5 inspection reports are valid for 30 days from the issue date. The JPJ ownership transfer must occur within this window.
