# PR1MA Housing Scheme Application

What Is It

Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) is a national housing program established under the PR1MA Act 2012 to plan, develop, and build high-quality, affordable residential properties in key urban centers for middle-income Malaysian households.

Who Is Eligible

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Individual or combined monthly household income between RM2,500 and RM15,000.
  • Aged 21 and above at the time of application.
  • Must not own more than one residential property (for both individual or husband and wife).

    • Required Documents

  • Copy of MyKad (applicant and spouse).
  • Copies of birth certificates or MyKid/MyKad of children.
  • Latest 3 months' salary slips, bank statements, or income declaration forms.
  • EPF Statement (latest).
  • EA/EC Form (latest tax return).

    • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Register Profile: Create an online account on the PR1MA portal. 2. Search Projects: Browse available residential projects in your desired states. 3. Choose Property: Apply or ballot for active projects that fit your budget. 4. Balloting Process: Once the project window closes, a computerised balloting process selects eligible buyers. 5. Loan Approval: Successful balloting candidates secure a home loan (either commercial or via PR1MA's Rent-to-Own scheme). 6. SPA Signing: Sign the Sales & Purchase Agreement and take ownership.

    Cost & Processing Time

  • Cost: Registration is free. Properties are priced between RM100,000 and RM400,000.
  • Processing Time: Bidding and balloting processing takes 1 to 3 months once a project booking is submitted.
