What Is It

Kad Perak Sejahtera (formerly Kad Prihatin Perak) is a cashless smart card welfare program funded by the Perak State Government. It provides eligible low-income families with a monthly credit allowance of RM90 for essential groceries and a yearly medical credit allocation of RM150 for treatments at registered private panel clinics.

Who Is Eligible

  • Malaysian citizen residing in Perak.
  • Registered under the eKasih database.
  • Monthly household income of RM2,000 and below.

    • Required Documents

  • Copy of MyKad.
  • Proof of income (salary slips or income declaration forms).
  • Copies of children's birth certificates or MyKid/MyKad (to verify household size).

    • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. eKasih Audit: Eligible candidates are automatically audited and extracted from the eKasih database. 2. Apply Online: Non-registered candidates can submit their profiles on the Perak Sejahtera portal. 3. Card Collection: Once approved, collect the physical Kad Perak Sejahtera card from the local district State Secretariat Office. 4. Grocery Spend: Present the card at participating partner retail outlets (Mydin, Econsave) to spend the monthly RM90 grocery credit. 5. Clinic Visits: Present the card at registered private panel clinics in Perak for treatments up to RM150 per year.
