What Is It

The Skim Bantuan Ibu Tunggal Pahang (SBITP) is a state‑run financial assistance programme aimed at supporting single mothers living in Pahang. Qualified beneficiaries receive a monthly cash grant of RM500 for a maximum of 12 months to help meet household expenses.

Who Is Eligible

  • Malaysian citizen single mothers (unmarried, divorced, or widowed) residing in Pahang.
  • Have at least one child under 18 years living with them.
  • Household monthly income not exceeding RM3,000 (or as stipulated by the state).
  • Registered with the Pahang State Social Welfare Department.

  • MyKad of the applicant.
  • Birth Certificate of each child.
  • Divorce Decree / Death Certificate of spouse (if applicable).
  • Latest EA Form or payslip showing household income.
  • Utility Bill (water/electricity) as proof of residence (within the last 3 months).
  • Completed Application Form (available online or at PPWK offices).

    1. Obtain Application Form: Download from the official portal or collect at any Pejabat Pembangunan Wanita dan Keluarga (PPWK) office. 2. Prepare Documents: Gather all required documents listed above and make photocopies. 3. Submit Application: Submit the completed form and documents in person at the nearest PPWK office or upload them via the online portal. 4. Verification: The welfare officers will verify eligibility, income level, and residency status. 5. Approval & Disbursement: Once approved, the applicant will receive a notification letter and the monthly grant will be transferred to the bank account provided, for up to 12 months.

  • Processing Time: Typically 15‑30 working days from the date of submission, subject to document completeness.
