The Foreign Degree Equivalency Evaluation is a service managed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). It evaluates academic degrees obtained from foreign universities to determine their equivalent level under the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF). This recognition is mandatory to apply for jobs in the Malaysian civil service (public sector) and professional bodies.
Who Is Eligible
Malaysian citizens or foreigners holding academic degrees (Bachelor, Master, PhD, or Diplomas) from accredited higher education institutions abroad.

Full Academic Transcripts (showing semesters and credit hours).

2. Submit Application: Fill in the qualification recognition form. Input university name, country, course duration, and graduation year.
3. Upload Scrolls: Upload certified scans of your transcripts, scrolls, and identity documents.
4. MQA Evaluation: MQA checks the accreditation status of the foreign university against international databases and MQF tiers.
5. Get Recognition Letter: Once verified, download the official MQA Equivalency Letter (Surat Pernyataan Pengiktirafan).

Important Notes
