What Is It

The MATRADE Market Development Grant (MDG) is an export promotion reimbursable grant designed to assist Malaysian SMEs in entering international markets. It reimburses up to 100% of eligible expenses, subject to a lifetime grant cap of RM300,000 per company.

Who Is Eligible

Malaysian SMEs (at least 60% Malaysian equity), registered with MATRADE, and exporting products manufactured in Malaysia or services originating from Malaysia.

  • Proof of Payment: Evidence of payment for the activity.
  • Event Photos: Images from the promotional event.

Submit Claim: Submit the claim application within 40 calendar days from the last day of the promotional event. 3. Upload Documents: Upload invoices, receipts, proof of payment, event photos, and flight boarding passes/tickets.
