# Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Application
What Is It
The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program is a national residency-by-investment scheme allowing foreigners who meet financial and medical criteria to live in Malaysia on a multiple-entry long-term visa. The program is co-managed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) and the Immigration Department.
Who Is Eligible
Foreign citizens aged 30 and above from countries recognized by Malaysia.
Must fulfill specific financial deposit requirements in local banks and clear security vetting (Certificate of Good Conduct).
Required Documents
Valid Passport (original and certified copy of all pages).
Certificate of Good Conduct (issued by the applicant's home country police/government).
Certified bank statements showing liquid assets and monthly income.
Resume/CV of the primary applicant.
Medical report from a registered hospital in Malaysia.
Proof of health insurance coverage.
Step-by-Step Procedure
1. Appoint Agent (Optional): Appoint a MOTAC-licensed MM2H agency or compile documents for a direct online application.
2. Submit Application: Log in to the MM2H portal and upload the passport, financial records, and Certificate of Good Conduct.
3. Receive Conditional Approval: Wait for security clearance and review (takes 2 to 4 months). The system issues a Conditional Approval Letter.
4. Fulfill Conditions in Malaysia:
- Open a local fixed deposit account and transfer the required capital.
- Undergo a medical checkup at a Malaysian clinic.
- Purchase medical insurance.
5. Visa Endorsement: Present the fixed deposit certificate, insurance, and medical report at the Immigration Department to pay visa fees and receive the MM2H multiple-entry social visit pass.

Cost: Application processing fee and visa fees apply. Security deposits and fixed deposit requirements depend on visa tier.
Processing Time: 90 to 120 working days for security screening and approval.

Important Notes
