What Is It

MyTax is the official integrated tax portal launched by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN). It serves as a single entry point for taxpayers to view tax balances, access e-Filing forms, pay taxes, and manage refund statuses digitally.

Who Is Eligible

  • Individuals (Malaysian citizens, permanent residents, and foreign tax residents) with active tax files registered with LHDN.

    • Required Documents

  • Copy of MyKad or Passport.
  • LHDN Tax Reference Number (Nombor Rujukan Cukai, e.g., SG 1000000000).
  • LHDN Activation PIN (obtained online or at counters).

    • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Access MyTax: Visit the official LHDN MyTax web portal. 2. First Time Login: Click on 'First Time Login' on the homepage. 3. Get PIN Code: - Online Option: Request an Activation PIN online via the MyTax feedback form by uploading a selfie with your MyKad. - Counter Option: Visit the nearest LHDN branch office to get a 16-digit Activation PIN. 4. Enter PIN: Input your MyKad number and the 16-digit PIN on the registration page. 5. Set Password: Create a secure password and confirm your digital certificate details. 6. Log In: Return to MyTax and log in using your MyKad number and new password.

  • Processing Time: Online PIN requests take 1 to 3 working days. Counter PIN registrations are completed in 10 minutes.
