What Is It

The Langkawi SkyCab is one of the steepest cable car rides in the world, transporting visitors to Mount Machinchang (708m) inside the Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark. The system is managed by Panorama Langkawi Sdn Bhd under the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA).

Who Is Eligible

  • Open to all visitors. Local Malaysians enjoy subsidized ticket pricing upon presenting MyKad/MyKid.

    1. Access Booking Site: Go to the Panorama Langkawi ticketing portal or buy tickets at the physical counters in Oriental Village. 2. Select Gondola Category: Choose your preferred gondola type: - Standard Gondola: Normal cabin. - Glass Bottom Gondola: Transparent glass flooring. - VIP Gondola / Private Cabin: Private access. 3. Select Ticket Type: Choose between Malaysian (MyKad) and Non-Malaysian rates. 4. Input Date & Quantity: Select your travel date and input passenger numbers. 5. Online Payment: Pay via online banking or credit card. Download the barcode tickets. 6. Boarding: Scan your barcode ticket at the boarding gate in Oriental Village.
