What Is It

The KKM HPV DNA Cervical Cancer Screening is a free test for cervical cancer screening under LPPKN, providing a more accurate alternative to traditional pap smears to detect high-risk HPV before it turns into cervical cancer.

Who Is Eligible

The test is eligible for Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident women, aged 30 to 65 years old, belonging to the B40 or M40 income categories.

Required Documents

  • MyKad: required for registration.
  • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Visit a clinic: Visit a participating Klinik Nur Sejahtera LPPKN or attend an LPPKN community outreach program. 2. Register for the test: Present MyKad and register for the test. 3. Take the test: Use a simple self-sampling swab kit that patients can do themselves or with a nurse's assistance at the clinic. 4. Receive results: Results are texted/notified within 1-2 months. 5. Follow-up: If positive for high-risk HPV, patient is referred to KKM hospitals for colposcopy follow-up.

    The test is free, and results are available within 1-2 months.
