Kinabalu National Park is Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in Kundasang, Sabah, and managed by Sabah Parks.

Who Is Eligible

The entrance permit is available for all visitors, including Malaysian Citizens and Foreign Nationals.

Required Documents

  • Identification Document (MyKad or Passport): required for ticket purchase and entry.
  • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Purchase Entrance Ticket: buy a physical entrance ticket at the Sabah Parks ticketing booths at the main entrance gate of Kinabalu Park HQ. 2. Keep Ticket Receipt: keep the ticket receipt as you must present it to access Poring Hot Springs on the same day without paying twice.

    Cost & Processing Time

    The permit fees are as follows:
  • Malaysian Citizens: RM10 for Adults, RM5 for Children (below 18) and Senior Citizens and OKU.
  • Foreign Nationals: RM50 for Adults, RM25 for Children.

    Important Notes

    Entrance tickets are valid for same-day entry to Kinabalu Park Headquarters, Poring Hot Springs, and Mesilau Nature Resort.
