# JPJ mySIKAP Account Registration

What Is It

mySIKAP is the public online transaction portal managed by the Road Transport Department (JPJ). It allows vehicle owners and drivers to manage vehicle registrations, purchase plate numbers, renew driving licenses, check summonses, and initiate ownership transfers online.

Who Is Eligible

  • Malaysian citizens, permanent residents, and foreigners holding a valid driving license or vehicle ownership records in Malaysia.

    • Required Documents

  • Original MyKad or Passport.
  • Active email address.

    • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Access Portal: Visit the official JPJ mySIKAP public portal. 2. Register Online: Select 'Daftar Akaun Awam' (Public Account Registration), fill in your MyKad number, email, and mobile number. 3. Get Activation PIN: - For Standard Access (Level 1): Account is activated online via email confirmation link. - For Advanced Access (Level 2 - required for ownership transfers): Visit a JPJ kiosk/branch counter to obtain an official activation PIN code via biometric fingerprint check. 4. Log In & Set Password: Return to the mySIKAP portal, enter your MyKad and activation PIN, and set a new password. 5. Access Services: Manage your driving license renewals and vehicle details on the dashboard.

  • Processing Time: Online setup takes 10 minutes. Kiosk PIN issuance takes 5 minutes.
