What Is It

The JPA Dermasiswa B40 (DB40) program provides financial sponsorship for diploma studies to eligible Malaysian students from low-income households.

Who Is Eligible

To be eligible, applicants must be Malaysian citizens, aged under 19 on Dec 31 of their SPM year, with a household income within the B40 category (typically per capita under RM5,249/month). They must also be first-time SPM candidates with credit in BM, Sejarah, and C/credit in 3 other subjects, and have secured admission to a Diploma or TVET Diploma course at Public Universities (UA), Premier Polytechnics, or approved government-linked colleges.
