What Is It

Malaysian government health clinics (Klinik Kesihatan KKM) provide highly subsidized primary healthcare services for the public. For a flat fee of RM1, patients receive medical consultation, diagnostic tests (if required), and standard prescription medications.

Who Is Eligible

  • All Malaysian citizens.
  • Note: Non-citizens are charged higher standard foreign-tier rates.

  • Original MyKad (for adults) or MyKid/Birth Certificate (for children).

  • Step-by-Step Procedure

    1. Book Online (Optional): Book an appointment slot online via the MySejahtera app under the 'Janji Temu Kesihatan' tab. 2. Arrive & Register: Visit the registration counter at your local Klinik Kesihatan. Present your MyKad and collect a queue number. 3. Pay Registration Fee: Pay the standard RM1 registration fee at the payment counter (or via cashless debit card/e-wallet). 4. Vitals Check: Attend the nurse station for blood pressure, weight, and initial temperature screening. 5. Doctor Consultation: Meet the medical officer to explain symptoms, undergo checks, and receive a diagnosis. 6. Pharmacy Collection: Present your prescription slip at the clinic pharmacy counter to collect your medications for free.
