# EPF Account 3 (Akaun Fleksibel) Withdrawals
What Is It
EPF Account 3 (Akaun Fleksibel) is a sub-account introduced by the Employees Provident Fund (KWSP) under the EPF restructuring plan. Starting May 2024, member accounts are split into Account 1 (Akaun Persaraan - 75%), Account 2 (Akaun Sejahtera - 15%), and Account 3 (Akaun Fleksibel - 10%). Funds in Account 3 can be withdrawn at any time for short-term cash needs.
Who Is Eligible
All EPF members (Malaysian citizens, permanent residents, and non-citizens) under the age of 55 with active savings in their accounts.
Required Documents
None (for online applications via the Kwsp i-Akaun mobile application).
Valid active bank account registered under the member's MyKad number.
Step-by-Step Procedure
1. Install App: Open and log in to the Kwsp i-Akaun mobile app.
2. Access Account 3: Select the 'Withdrawal' menu and choose 'Akaun Fleksibel'.
3. Transfer Balance (One-Time option): Members had a window from May to August 2024 to transfer a portion of their existing savings from Account 2 to Account 3 as an initial balance.
4. Enter Withdrawal Amount: Key in the amount you wish to withdraw (minimum withdrawal amount is RM50).
5. Verify Bank Account: Select your registered bank account for direct credit transfer.
6. Submit Security Check: Complete the security verification via TAC or fingerprint authentication.
7. Credit Transfer: Funds are transferred to the registered bank account.

Processing Time: 1 to 7 working days for credit transfers.

Important Notes
Withdrawals from Account 3 can be done at any time, subject to a minimum withdrawal of RM50 per transaction. No supporting documents or proof of emergency are required.
