What Is It

The Biasiswa Kecil Persekutuan (BKP) is a federal scholarship program managed by the Ministry of Education (MOE/KPM). It provides monthly cash financial support to secondary school students from underprivileged and low-income families to prevent school dropouts and support education costs.

Who Is Eligible

  • Enrolled in Form 1 to Form 6 in government or government-aided secondary schools.

Submit Application: Parents complete the BKP application form provided by the school and attach income slips. 3. School Selection Panel: The school's student welfare committee reviews applications, grades them based on merit points, and submits selected candidates to JPN. 4. JPN Approval: The State Education Department approves the allocation quotas. 5. Open Bank Account: Approved students are instructed to open an active bank account (usually BSN). 6. Payout Credit: The scholarship funds are credited directly to the student's bank account.
